Some time ago (actually, about two years ago), my friend Aleksa gave me his Necrons as a gift - he wasnn't so invested in WH40K and he wanted to reduce the number of minis he had, so I ended up with a nice Necron force (made mostly out of models from Forgebane and Start Collecting sets). However, I was busy painting my other armies and so I kept delaying painting the Necrons. Since I have even less time for painting now, I decided to call people from Warbrush studio for help - they already painted some of my Khorne minis, so I knew their work was fantastic.
I wanted my Necrons to look like they have slept a long time on one of their tomb-worlds so I gave Dusan from Warbrush studio a few references ad we talked about what the final colour scheme should be. What he came up with can be seen on the pictures below. I can only say that I am very satisfied and that the models look just like I have imagined them. Oh, and Dusan is also working on Necron models from the "Indomitus" set, so I really cannot wait to see the final result and put my army together!
